Connect Claude & ChatGPT

Slate plugs into Claude and ChatGPT so you can talk to your money the same way you talk to anyone else. Setup takes about two minutes.

What you can ask

  • • “What did I spend on groceries last month?”
  • • “Show me a chart of my spending by category.”
  • • “Where am I over budget this month?”
  • • “What if I retired two years earlier?”
  • • “Move $200 from dining to savings.”

Safe and private

  • Only your household. Your assistant only sees your own money — never anyone else’s.
  • Turn it off anytime. One click and your assistant loses access immediately.
  • Auto-expire. Set access to expire in 30 or 90 days, or keep it on until you turn it off.
  • You stay in control. Slate can show you exactly what your assistant has looked at and when.

Get started

  1. Open Settings → Integrations
  2. Pick Claude or ChatGPT and follow the on-screen steps
  3. That’s it — start asking questions in your assistant
